Reinsurance activity is no longer attracting investors

According to the chairman of SA Reinsurance Offices Association (SAROA), which represents six of the seven companies operating on the local market, the reinsurers deficit image among financial analysts risks to be fatal to this business in South Africa. With a negative return on investments in the course of the recent ten years, reinsurance activity has lost momentum among investors.
