Recapitalisation of Continental Re

Within the framework of the recapitalisation process, Continental Re has successfully finalised its capital increase at up to 10 billion NGN (81 million USD).

Among the new shareholders, we listed some South Africans, Saudis, various investment trusts and the Société Nationale d'Assurance (SONAR) of Burkina Faso. Continental Re is, henceforth, endowed with enough substantial resources to develop in Africa and to extend its activities to energy risks.
