Ramakrishnan Chander appointed new Managing Director of LIC

Ramakrishnan Chander has been promoted to Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) with the appointment taking effect on 1 December 2025.

R. Chander joined LIC in 1990, where he has held several senior positions, including Chief Investment Officer.

The new Managing Director is a graduate and Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India.
