QIC updates its “Coins” loyalty program

Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) is introducing new redemption options for its “Coins” loyalty program.

With this update, policyholders can now redeem their “Coins” loyalty points for digital vouchers offering free services and special offers at selected hotels, leisure centers, and car rental companies in Qatar.

Coins can also be redeemed for physical gifts such as portable gadgets, home appliances, and other everyday products.

Launched in May 2025, Coins allows users of the QIC App and qic.online to accumulate points through several interactions, including:

• downloading the QIC App and creating a personal profile
• underwriting and renewing insurance contracts via the mobile app or web portal
• booking certain non-insurance services available on the platform
