QIC and QInvest establish an Islamic asset management company

Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) and investment bank QInvest have created an Islamic asset management company called "Epicure Islamic Investment Management". The new entity is 51% owned by QIC, through its subsidiary Epicure Investment Management (EIM), and 49% by QInvest.

The joint venture will be providing a wide array of Islamic asset management activities ranging from investment to the development and structuring of new Islamic investment products.
