Qatar Insurance Company has established a subsidiary in Malta

Qatar Insurance Company, the largest Qatari insurer has opened a subsidiary in Malta called QIC Europe Limited (QEL).

QEL obtained the A rating from Standard & Poor's. The new entity will be underwriting, among others, fire , third party liability and other property damage risks in all European countries.

These new activities will drain more business to the group’s other subsidiaries including Qatar Re and Antares.
