Qatar: Implementation of a health insurance plan

The second implementation phase of the health insurance plan allowing all Qataris to be insured was launched in May. The first step was a great success. Nearly 84% of beneficiaries have joined.

The second step is to designed cover all nationals while extending preventive services, physical therapy, medication, X-ray scanners, eye care, medical analysis. The insurance premium is supported by the State for all Qataris. It is paid to the National Health Insurance Company.
