PZU bought four companies in the RSA group

The Polish insurer PZU, leader of the domestic market, has announced the acquisition of 4 insurance companies of the UK-based group RSA, namely:

• Link4 (Poland)
• Lietuvos Draudimas (market leader in Lithuania)
• AAS Balta (market leader in Latvia)
• Codan Forsikring (3^rd company in Estonia)

The amount of the transaction, which is expected to be closed in the second half of 2014, amounted to 498 million USD.
