PZU is attracting a large number of investors

PZU listing is attracting more than 250 000 investors willing to purchase the 7 million shares made available on the market. The cession of the 30% shares of the Pole Treasury and the Dutch insurer Eureko in PZU represents the most important takeover bid in the history of the Warsaw stock market. The first quotation, which took place on May 14, is part of a large-scale privatization program designed to collect 7.5 billion EUR (9.5billion USD) in 2010 aimed at reducing the country's budget deficit.
