Protest against the classification of the Malacca Straits among high-risk areas

Protests of the 250 members of the Singapore Shipping Association (SSA) against the listing of the Malacca Detroit by the London market among war zone and terrorist acts risks. The association has warned Hong Kong ship owners and proprietors of tankers as well as the governments of Indonesia, Singapore in view of a joint action designed to obtain a review of this decision which is likely to penalize the 50 000 vessels crossing the Detroit every year.
