The privatisation process of the STAR is being achieved gradually

According to the latest news, the privatisation process of the Société Tunisienne d'Assurance et de Réassurance is being achieved gradually. Following the cession of the capital stake (35%) to a reference shareholder, the State has maintained its share of 38%. The privatisation is due to be achieved in the upcoming months. Among the candidates for the acquisition of a share in STAR's capital, we may list the French AXA and Groupama as well as the local insurers COMAR and CARTE.
