Possible merger between Oman Qatar Insurance and Vision Insurance SAOG

Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) is studying the possibility of merging its subsidiary Oman Qatar Insurance with the Omani insurer Vision Insurance SAOG.

Through this operation, the Qatari group is aiming at expanding its presence in the direct insurance market in the Gulf region.

Oman Qatar Insurance's board of directors has invited Vision Insurance's board of directors to explore the potential merger.
