Partnership between Standard Chartered Bank, Zurich Insurance Group and Allianz

A partnership has been brokered between Zurich Insurance Group and Standard Chartered Bank with a view to providing Emirati bank customers with bancassurance products.

This ten-year agreement will enable the Swiss insurer to exploit a market endowed with a high potential of growth where 76% of the population do not have a life insurance policy.

Meanwhile, a second fifteen year bancassurance agreement has been signed between the bank and insurer Allianz. It pertains to the distribution of insurance products such as motor, travel, accident and fire through the agencies of Standard Chartered Bank.
