Orient Insurance: H1 2021 results

Orient Insurance has recorded a turnover increase of 13.9% in the first half of 2021. The latter has gone from 2.559 billion AED (696.59 million USD) as at 30 June 2020 to 2.914 billion AED (793.23 million USD) a year later.

The Emirati insurer has achieved a half-year net profit of 296.694 million AED (80.76 million USD), rising by 10% compared to the 269.72 million AED (73.42 million USD) posted at the end of June 2020.

During the period under review, the investment income stands at 129.891 million AED (35.35 million USD), representing a year-on-year growth of 10.2%.
