Optio Re MENA begins operations in Dubai

Optio Re MENA, a newly established company of the UK-based Optio Group, has been granted approval by the UAE authorities to start operations in Dubai.

The new company consists of a reinsurance manager (MGA) and a reinsurance broker specializing in the accident and health (A&H) class of business.

Ahmed Ramadan and Moayyad Abu Hayyeh have been respectively appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chief Underwriting Officer, A&H of the entity.

Founded in 2019, Optio Group is an MGA specializing in developing products, services and solutions by combining technology and expertise of insurance industry professionals.
