Opening Ceremony of the 29th AIO African Reinsurance Forum

The African Insurance Organization (AIO) officially launched the 29th edition of its African Reinsurance Forum on 13 October 2025.

The inaugural session began with a presentation on the forum’s central theme: “Growth for the African reinsurance industry: navigating global volatility and increasing risk complexity.” The session was moderated by Grace Muradzikwa, Commissioner of the Insurance and Pensions Commission of Zimbabwe.

Two additional presentations followed: the first explored "global reinsurance trends", while the second addressed "geopolitical risk and its implications for insurers and reinsurers".

As a reminder, the 29th AIO African Reinsurance Forum is taking place from 11 to 15 October 2025 in Harare, Zimbabwe.
