Oman Re to settle in Qatar

Oman Re has been granted approval by the Qatari authorities to launch its branch at the Qatar Financial Center (QFC) based in Doha.

The new entity, which will start operating in Q2 2021, will write facultative and treaty business from both local and dedicated international markets.

Bashar Abdulkhaleq Raoof has been appointed General Manager of the branch.
