Oman Re: roundtable discussion on the future of the insurance sector driven by AI

On 28 September 2025, Oman Re organized a roundtable discussion at the W Hotel in Muscat on the theme: “Future-Proofing Organizations in the Era of AI”,

The meeting was attended by senior executives from the Omani insurance sector for an evening of dialogue and collaboration.

It was moderated by Hernan Bruno, professor of marketing and digital environment at the University of Cologne, Germany. He focused on topics that will shape the future of insurance: technological dynamics, organizational change, decentralization, automation, and customer centricity.

According to Romel Tabaja, CEO of Oman Re, the aim of this initiative is to serve as a platform for collective exchange between leaders to ensure the resilience and growth of Oman's insurance sector.

Designed to promote strategic dialogue and support market development, the roundtable will become an annual event, under the leadership of Oman Re.
