Oman Re rated "BBB-" by Fitch

Fitch Ratings has assigned an Insurer Financial Strength Rating of "BBB-" to Oman Re; the rating outlook is stable.

The rating reflects the good technical results achieved by Oman Re and the financial performance embodied by an adequate level of capitalization and reserves.

The turnover achieved in the first quarter 2019 was 9.9 million OMR (25.64 million USD) compared to 9.6 million OMR (24.9 million USD) a year earlier. Net income for the same period reached 118 000 OMR (306 000 USD).
