Old Mutual keen on consolidating its shareholding in UAP Holdings

Old Mutual is planning on merging its dual shareholding in the capital of Kenyan insurer UAP Holdings. The Anglo-South African group holds two stakes in UAP capital through its subsidiaries Old Mutual Life Assurance Company and Old Mutual Holding.

Old Mutual is the majority shareholder of UAP, owning 60.7% of its capital.
