OAS helicopter crash indemnified

Confirming its position of the market leader, the insurer NICON has disbursed 101.6 million NGN (816 298 USD) in damages for the helicopter crash of the company Odegene Air Shuttle (OAS). NICON has also paid 75 000 USD to third parties and to the relatives of the craft's pilot.

NICON's management claimed having disbursed 4 billion NGN (32 million USD) in claim compensations out of the 6 billion NGN (48 million USD) it inherited.
