New Product: insurance against typhoons

PGA Sompo Japan Insurance, a local subsidiary of Sompo Japan Insurance, is marketing a new agricultural policy to cover damages caused by typhoons.
Called Typhoon Guard Insurance, this guarantee is the first to be indexed on a weather data whose trigger is the typhoon.
It will first be offered to producers of bananas and then extended to all farmers.
