New legislation in favour of foreign companies

In order to attract more foreign investors to the country, the insurance commission has adopted a bill authorizing the establishment of representation offices for the foreign companies that are not operating on the Jordanian market. According to the regulation, the representations' activities shall be confined to the promotion of services provided by the parent companies and to the management of the back offices.
