New entity called Al Jasir takaful Insurance Co

Bahrain and Qatar have established a new entity called Al Jasir takaful Insurance Co endowed with a capital of 68.7 million USD. The founders shall be equally sharing the 40% capital of the company while the remaining 60% will be listed in the stock market for the citizens of both countries
The company, which is targetingboth motor and marine insurance markets, is due to start operating at the beginning of the year 2009.
