National Suisse has opened a branch in Singapore

After a seven-year presence in Malaysia, National Suisse has consolidated its presence in South East Asia by establishing a branch in Singapore.
The new entity, recently licensed and already operational, is offering direct insurance and facultative reinsurance in as engineering, marine classes of business and artwork coverage.
Operating under the name of Swiss National Insurance Company, the group, which is headquartered in Bâle, reported 1.51 billion CHF (1.65 billion USD) in 2012.
