Munich Re launches cyber-reinsurance treaty

Munich Re America has developed a cyber-reinsurance treaty for US property and casualty insurers. These can protect their cyber risks portfolio underwritten with small and medium-size enterprises which are the targets of 72% of cyber attacks in the United States.

The treaty offers 15 million USD in reinsurance capacity. The reinsurer also offers its clients technical expertise and risk management tools.
