MS&AD enters ReAssure’s capital

Japanese insurer MS&AD has acquired a 5% stake in the capital of ReAssure, a British subsidiary of Swiss Re for 175 million GBP (230 million USD). The transaction announced on October 6, 2017 estimates the company at 3.5 billion GBP (4.6 billion USD).

MS&AD shall undertake to increase its shareholding at 15% in the company’s capital in the next three years.
