Motor: Omani insurers' indemnities drop in 2022

According to the Omani Capital Market Authority (CMA), the indemnities paid by motor insurers amounted to 25 million OMR (64.7 million USD) in 2022. This amount represents a 12.6% decrease compared to the end of 2021.

This decline has been recorded despite a 15.5% increase in the number of road accidents which reached 76 200 by the end of 2022.
