Motor insurance in Oman: claims increase

Al Ahlia Insurance reports that motor claims increased by 81% in Q4 2021.

This increase is due to the decline in remote working which has led to a recovery and return to normal activity.

During the pandemic, motor claims decreased by 80% due to a decline in car accidents during lockdown. The drop in claims prompted Omani insurers to reduce motor insurance rates.
