Motor insurance: falling online underwritings in Nigeria

The online underwriting of third-party liability motor policies via the USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) platform is threatened by price undercutting.

Experts say some insurers are selling third-party motor products below the standard price set at 5 000 NGN (13.12 USD).
