Motor claims compensation in Zimbabwe

In Zimbabwe, victims of road accidents involving foreign-registered vehicles receive a compensation from the Motor Insurance Pool (MIP). The MIP covers property damage and personal injury including death.

Unfortunately, some victims and policyholders are not covered due to a lack of information on claims handling.

To address this situation, the Insurance Council of Zimbabwe (ICZ) is launching a public awareness campaign on the MIP compensation procedures.
