During the current post consolidation stage, most companies are now focused on taking up funds on the financial market. In order to take full advantage of the current growth momentum, operators are developing expansion strategies on both local and international level and reinforcing their human potential. According to a report by Afrinvest Research, the 2007 turnover of the Nigerian insurance market amounts to 844 million USD. This figure remains below the forecasts, though.
