Mitsui closes its office in Qatar

The insurer Mitsui Sumitomo has announced the imminent closure of its office in Qatar, which opened in 2009. It is about a change in strategy for the group that prefers to focus its efforts on the Dubai subsidiary where its regional portfolio will be run. The insurer’s London office will be entrusted with the administrative management and payment of claims pertaining to the existing portfolio.
