Microinsurance is hardly known

Insurance regulators and the “Toronto Center” development institute are planning a training program on microinsurance over a week designed for insiders and aimed at training professionals specializing in this new kind of insurance. While microinsurance is getting deeply rooted in Africa, Namibia is lagging behind in that respect. More than half the population has no access whatsoever to any protection of its properties against damage.
