Marsh is finalizing the takeover of Alexander Forbes

Marsh, fully detained by Marsh & McLennan group, has completed the final steps for the takeover of all of Alexander Forbes’ activities in Namibia. The deal also provides for the takeover of the entire operations of Alexander Forbes in Botswana. Marsh also consented to the acquisition of Alexander Forbes’ sub-Saharan business in Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Uganda as well as in Zambia. Consequently, Marsh becomes leader in South Africa and consolidates its position in sub-Saharan Africa.
