Mariette Bormann, new Legal Manager of Covéa

Mariette Bormann, 60, has been appointed Legal Manager of Covéa mutual insurance group. M.Bormann is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Strasbourg (Sciences Po) and the University of Lyon III. She also holds a certificate of advanced studies in tax techniques and a management training diploma from HEC Executive Education.

The new Manager started her career in 1984 in consulting firms, notably EY. In 1988, she joined AXA as an associate in the General Secretariat. In 1994, M. Bormann was appointed Secretary General of Generali France.

In 2016, she joined the French Insurance Federation (FFA) where in five years of activity, she held several management positions, most recent of which is Legal, Tax, Distribution and Compliance Manager.
