Mapfre, results benefiting from the Spanish market rebound

The insurer Mapfre has reported 845 million EUR (1 027 million USD) in net profits in 2014, up by 6.9% compared to 2013. This performance is attributed to the recovery of the local insurance market.

The group continues its expansion in Europe, North America and Asia. But it is in the Spanish market that profit growth was the strongest (+ 25%).
