Lloyd's of London to clean up its staff members

A recent survey has revealed numerous misbehaviours within Lloyd's, the legendary insurer of the London market. Sexual harassment, alcohol addiction and excessive stress are scourges that leaders are trying to combat.

It is this "toxic" work environment that prompted leaders to introduce a new code of conduct and a social pact intended for gender equality.

Lloyd's remains a male-dominated market although it was run between 2014 and 2018 by a woman, Inga Beale.
