List of companies approved to issue mandatory motor insurance policies in Kuwait

The Insurance Regulatory Unit (IRU) of Kuwait has updated the list of companies authorized to issue mandatory motor third-party liability (MTPL) insurance policies.

The 27 approved insurers include Kuwait Insurance, Gulf Insurance Group (GIG), Arab Islamic Takaful Insurance, First Takaful Insurance Company, Warba Insurance and Reinsurance Company, National Insurance Company, and Lebanese Swiss Guarantee Company.

The full list of insurers authorized to underwrite MTPL policies is available on the IRU website: https://www.iru.gov.kw/.

Only the companies included on this list are legally permitted to underwrite or renew mandatory motor third-party liability insurance contracts.
