The local company LION Insurance will be covering agricultural risks with an insurance policy that is adapted to the needs of farmers. According to Geoffrey Kihuguru, managing director, this policy will supplement the banks' efforts for the sector. The banking system has recently disbursed 25 million USD to support agriculture.
