A less expensive motor insurance for claim-free drivers

The ministry of the interior has signed an agreement with the Emirates Insurance Association (EIA). According to this document, substantial reductions in premiums will be granted to claim-free motorists. The discount could amount to 35% of the premium if the insured is not responsible for a claim during a four-year period. Furthermore, companies will offer a one-year free insurance in case the insured has not sustained any loss or any fine for a period of five years. An information system will be set up at the federal level to manage this new scheme.
