Insurers are claiming 2 billion NGN of outstanding premiums from the State

The controversy pertaining to the group life insurance covering the civil service workers has taken a new turn. the Insurers taking part in this plan have voiced their protest against the State,accusing it of concealing the number of affiliates of the policy. The 26 insurers and 109 brokers are claiming 2 billion NGN (13.5 million USD) of outstanding premiums for the year 2009.
