The insurer Allianz authorized to operate in Congo Brazzaville

The regional insurance supervisory commission (CRCA) has granted Allianz a license to operate in Congo Brazzaville. Allianz Cameroon detains 20% of the new entity, specialized in non-life insurance. The Congolese market currently comprises five companies, three of which are non-life ones. It is totalling a premium amount worth 33 159 290 000 FCFA (68 374 455 USD) in 2010.
