Insurance: towards the creation of a digital supervision platform in the UAE

The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) has been working on a project to set up a Digital Supervision Platform (DSP).

The objective of this initiative is to improve the supervisory procedures of the insurance sector by using the newest technologies available.

The DSP will allow the CBUAE to collect data from insurance companies and analyze market trends as well as the risks facing the industry.

The new digital solution features a transactional data module that will provide the bank with relevant and detailed information on the industry: policy by policy, claim by claim, etc.
