Mergers and acquisitions in the Middle East and Africa insurance sector have increased by 41.2% in 2022, according to a study conducted by Clyde & Co. A total of 24 deals were completed in the past year against 17 in 2021.
The number of global insurance M&A deals reached 449 in 2022 compared to 418 a year earlier, which represents a 7.4% growth.
