Insurance anti-fraud campaign in Lebanon

Lebanon’s Insurance Control Commission, (ICC), has banned several brokers from selling motor insurance policies. This measure has been taken after discovering that false policies have been issued by brokers with tariffs that are inconsistent with those imposed by the regulations.

ICC has also urged policyholders to check whether the policies are consistent with the regulations and whether the broker has been licensed by the State.
