Indonesian insurers urged to provide Nat-Cat coverage

The Indonesian government has called on insurance companies to develop coverage for natural disasters.

This decision came following the rising frequency of natural disasters in recent years. Statistics compiled by the Ministry of Finance show that each year, Indonesia suffers economic losses of 1.54 billion USD due to natural disasters.
