Increase of online insurance underwritings in Oman

According to supervisory authorities (CMA), the Omani insurance market recorded a significant increase in online underwritings.

In 2019, the number of insurance online contracts rose by 59%. Thirteen out of twenty insurance companies operating on the market, now offer remote underwritings.

During this pandemic, online transactions are consistently increasing which anticipates a promising rise in underwritings for 2020.
