Increase of 2014 results for WAICA Re

WAICA Reinsurance reports earnings for 2014. Premiums of the Sierra Leonean reinsurer increased by 51.5%. They went from 15 922 737 USD in 2013 to 24 124 158 USD in 2014.

This double-digit growth stemms from the good performance of the fire and engineering classes of business which alone accounts for 42% of total underwritings.

With 3 788 061 USD, pre-tax result grew by 73%. This figure was 2 190 118 a year earlier.
