IAG puts an end to rumours of expansion in China

IAG officially has announced that the group does not intend to invest soon in China. This clarification comes a week after the statements made by the CEO Peter Harmer according to which the insurer intends to extend its commitments in this country during his mandate. IAG has disowned this strategy by referring to shareholders' pressure. The group affirms that this decision does influence the group's willingness to seek opportunities on other Asian markets, in Australia and New Zealand.
